Recently, the Yancheng Branch of Bank of China successfully launched the first “Token Loan” financing project in Jiangsu Province and the surrounding region, providing Shishi Technology (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. with a RMB 5 million unsecured working-capital credit facility. The innovative financing program puts AI-related business scenarios into practice, injecting fresh financial support into the development of Yancheng’s digital economy and new quality productive forces.

As the operator of the Yancheng Supercomputing Center, Shishi Technology (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. processes more than 100 billion AI tokens per day and provides AI computing services to research institutions, advanced manufacturing companies, the aerospace sector and the OPC community. Keeping pace with emerging industries and new business models, the Yancheng Branch of Bank of China leveraged the company’s historical token settlement data, token supply and consumption figures, the value of its contracted computing-power agreements and its order book to provide the company with an unsecured credit facility. The financing has effectively eased the company’s day-to-day cash-flow pressures.

The Yancheng Branch of Bank of China has now developed a comprehensive financing solution for upstream and downstream companies across the AI industry chain, covering three key areas: token supply, application and services. Eligible companies can receive unsecured credit facilities of up to RMB 10 million with a maturity of up to three years. The innovative approach marks a shift in lending decisions from reliance on fixed-asset collateral toward dynamic monitoring of business and transaction data, bringing financial strength to bear in supporting the high-quality development of Yancheng’s digital industries.
