On the afternoon of August 6, Party Secretary Yan Hanping met with Liu Wei, General Manager of the Hydrogen Energy Business Unit of China Energy Investment Corporation and General Manager of Guohua Investment Co., Ltd., and his entourage in Yancheng.

Yan Hanping extended a warm welcome to Liu Wei and expressed gratitude to China Energy Investment Corporation for its long-standing strong support for Yancheng’s development. He noted that new energy stands as one of Yancheng’s most distinctive industrial hallmarks and a key strategic priority for the city during the 15th Five-Year Plan period. At present, Yancheng is accelerating efforts to build an important comprehensive energy supply guarantee base and the largest green power supply guarantee base along Jiangsu’s coast, striving to forge a highland for green energy. These endeavors cannot be achieved without robust support from central SOEs. It is hoped that both sides will leverage their respective strengths, deepen practical cooperation in areas including clean energy development and utilization, energy management & services, coordination between computing power and power supply, and talent exchanges, accelerate the deployment of a batch of highly mature and competitive industrial projects in Yancheng, and pursue win-win development while contributing to national strategies.

Liu Wei thanked Yancheng for its strong support to China Energy Investment Corporation and briefed the host on the Group’s transformation and development as well as the progress of its investment and construction projects in Yancheng.
