On August 3, we visited the headquarters of Nongxin Digital Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Nongxin Digital & Intelligence) in Yancheng Future Science and Technology City. On display in the exhibition hall were a smart pig farm sand table and AI cloud boxes. Inside the digital intelligence animal husbandry laboratory, researchers were debugging an AI inspection robot. The LiDAR atop the device rotated slowly to scan its surroundings, giving off a faint buzzing hum as it operated.
Developed at the company’s Yancheng headquarters, this AI inspection robot requires no modifications to existing farm facilities. Capable of round‑the‑clock automatic patrols, it detects abnormal conditions among livestock in real time and has undergone trial deployment at multiple farms across China.
“Technology can only deliver tangible results when it takes root in a suitable environment,” said Wang Ke, Vice President of Nongxin Digital & Intelligence.
