With Typhoon Bavi making landfall in Zhejiang Province, its preliminary impact on Yancheng has begun to manifest. On July 12, Yan Hanping, Secretary of the CPC Yancheng Municipal Committee, visited Binhai, Funing, and Jianhu counties to inspect and guide local flood and typhoon prevention work. Conducting on-site supervision and dispatching operations, Yan inspected sea dikes, construction sites, residential compounds, and local farming households. He emphasized the importance of thoroughly implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on flood control and disaster relief, as well as implementing the decisions made by the CPC Central Committee and fulfilling the requirements of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee. Yan called for stronger on-site guidance and the deployment of resources to where they are in urgent need to build a solid defense line and continuously enhance safety levels.
