On July 10, the exhibition event of the “Guilu Cup” Cross-Strait Ecological Environment Calligraphy, Painting and Photography Competition was held. Sun Jibing, Deputy Director-General of Jiangsu Provincial Taiwan Affairs Office, and Tang Jing, Vice Mayor of Yancheng Municipal Peoples Government, attended the event.

Tang Jing extended his congratulations to all award-winning calligraphers, painters and photography enthusiasts. He pointed out that hosting the competition is a down-to-earth initiative to fully implement the ten policy measures for promoting cross-strait exchanges and cooperation. More importantly, it offers a platform for compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait to conduct more exchanges and interactions on ecological conservation and green development. Through such interactions, they can deepen mutual understanding and trust, and jointly inject vitality into the peaceful development of cross-strait relations.

Since its launch, the competition has drawn numerous calligraphy, painting and photography lovers across the Strait, collecting more than 3,000 entries featuring diverse themes and distinctive artistic styles. This exhibition not only showcases a full spectrum of cross-strait ecological artistic achievements, but also serves as a vivid testament to the emotional bond and cultural integration between compatriots on both sides. It plays a positive role in deepening and substantiating people-to-people exchanges across the Strait and fostering closer emotional affinity between compatriots on both sides.
