On May 6, Zhou Bin, Secretary of the CPC Yancheng Municipal Committee, made an inspection tour to Tinghu District on the development of major projects and the construction of OPC communities. He stressed that we must thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on developing new quality productive forces, fully put into effect the plans and requirements set forth at the 11th Plenary Session of the 14th CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, firmly grasp the primary task of high-quality development, accelerate the construction and performance of major projects, boost the digital economy as a growth engine, and better coordinate development and security, so as to lay a solid foundation for accomplishing the annual objectives and tasks.

During the inspection, Zhou Bin pointed out that the second quarter is the golden period for project construction and a crucial stage for securing the fulfillment of the annual goals and tasks. The whole city must raise its political stance, adhere to the clear guidance of “going all out to promote projects and focusing on major projects”, concentrate efforts on speeding up project construction, keep improving the business environment, thoroughly plan and advance all key tasks, and strive to deliver more tangible progress, thus making greater contributions to the overall development of the province. As it is the peak season for production and construction, work safety must never be slackened for a single moment. We must always keep a strong sense of safety, press ahead and fully implement the responsibilities of all parties, carry out thorough investigation and rectification of potential risks and hazards, and firmly prevent and contain safety accidents, so as to safeguard high-quality development with a high level of security.
