On April 13, the signing ceremony for the Jiangsu final assembly base project of UBTECH humanoid robots was held in Yancheng. Zhou Bin, Party Secretary of the CPC Yancheng Municipal Party Committee, Yan Hanping, Mayor of Yancheng Municipal People’s Government, and Zhou Jian, Founder, Board Chairman and CEO of UBTECH ROBOTICS CORP LTD, attended and jointly witnessed the signing.

Humanoid robots serve as the core carrier of embodied AI and a typical representative of new-quality productive forces. In recent years, our city has actively seized the new track of artificial intelligence, vigorously implemented the three-year action plan for the development of the embodied AI robot industry, and strived to build a manufacturing cluster and an innovative application pilot zone for embodied AI robots in the Yangtze River Delta. UBTECH is a leading enterprise in the humanoid robot industry, with full-stack core technologies and a globally leading industrial layout in the field of embodied AI. Integrating R&D and manufacturing, data training, standard formulation and talent development, the base will function as UBTECH’s core strategic production base and final assembly & delivery center for humanoid robots in Jiangsu Province, injecting strong impetus into the in-depth integration of Yancheng’s digital economy and advanced manufacturing industry.
