With eight steeds galloping into spring and songs echoing across the city to celebrate the Chinese New Year, Yancheng Culture & Tourism launched the themed activity “Celebrate the New Year in Yancheng with Delights” during the Spring Festival holiday. The vividly depicted “Picture of Eight Galloping Steeds” animated the whole city, allowing residents and visitors to immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere of Yancheng.

Amid the momentum of the “Eight Steeds”, the city witnessed a booming cultural tourism market filled with joy and laughter everywhere. The city was bustling with visitors throughout the holiday. At Dazonghu Lake Scenic Area, crowds gathered to admire the lantern displays at the “Mountain-and-Sea Fantasy Lantern Festival”. In Dayang Bay, spectators packed around the performance teams, with cheers rising one after another. The Holland Flower Sea was packed with visitors, as the float parade moved slowly through the crowd, and tourists taking photos could barely move. The Yellow Sea Forest Park, with its activity “Spend the New Year in the Forest”, attracted many families, filling the woods with happiness and laughter.

During the holiday, Yancheng’s cultural tourism scene was featured by CCTV 32 times, covering folk parades, intangible cultural heritage experiences and trendy tech entertainment, showcasing the vibrant Spring Festival atmosphere in Yancheng.
