On February 25, the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal People’s Government held the citywide conference on improving the business environment. The meeting mobilized the whole city to thoroughly study and implement the important expositions by General Secretary Xi Jinping on improving the business environment, fully implement the decisions and plans of the Party Central Committee and the work requirements of the Provincial Party Committee, strive to build the “Yancheng Sincere Service” business environment brand, and ensure a solid start to the 15th Five-Year Plan period.

Party Secretary Zhou Bin attended and addressed the conference. Deputy Party Secretary of CPC Yancheng Municipal Committee and Mayor Yan Hanping presided over the meeting. Wang Rong, Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress, Yang Weida, Chairman of the Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, and Wu Wei, Deputy Party Secretary of CPC Yancheng Municipal Committee, were present.

At the conference, the city’s work on the business environment in 2025 was reviewed, and tasks for improving the business environment in 2026 were deployed. Sheyang County, Yandu District, the Municipal Bureau of Justice, the Municipal Data Bureau, and Renhe Zhongheng Group delivered speeches.

The conference was held via video link. Members of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee, leading officials of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress, the Municipal People’s Government, and the Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, the President of the Municipal Intermediate People’s Court, the Procurator-General of the Municipal People’s Procuratorate, and leading officials of relevant municipal departments attended the meeting at the main venue.

All counties (cities, districts), Yancheng Economic and Technological Development Zone, and Yannan High-Tech Zone set up sub-venues to watch and listen to the conference.
