On the afternoon of February 21, Yancheng held a Spring Festival Symposium for Outstanding Talents Originating from Yancheng Working Outside the City. Twenty-five representatives of outstanding Yancheng talents gathered together to celebrate the Spring Festival, renew friendship and discuss development plans. Mayor Yan Hanping attended and delivered a speech.

At the symposium, the city image video and a special film on marine economic development were shown. The meeting introduced Yancheng’s development achievements during the 14th Five-Year Plan period and the development vision for the 15th Five-Year Plan.

Outstanding talents from various sectors spoke enthusiastically. Based on their professional experience, in-depth industry expertise and deep affection for their hometown, they shared their views, insights and suggestions. They all expressed that they would give full play to their own strengths, take the initiative to connect resources, negotiate projects and promote cooperation, so as to build bridges and offer advice for the development of their hometown, and contribute with concrete actions to help Yancheng write more brilliant chapters of “striving for uniqueness and excellence”.
