On December 21, Solid Ionic Power Technology (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Jiuxing Energy Technology Co., Ltd. officially released their technological achievements in solid-state power batteries in Yancheng. Their 51Ah automotive-grade solid-state battery series has taken the lead in passing all the rigorous tests specified in Safety Requirements for Traction Batteries of Electric Vehicles (GB38031-2025) at the Test Center of China Automotive Engineering Research Institute. This marks the crucial leap of solid-state battery R&D achievements from pilot-scale incubation to industrialized production.

Yancheng is the first city in the Yangtze River Delta whose installed capacity of new energy power generation has exceeded 20 million kilowatts. In Yancheng Economic and Technological Development Zone and its surrounding areas, a relatively complete industrial chain integrating key materials, battery manufacturing and new energy vehicle applications has been formed, creating a distinctive industrial cluster with prominent industrial synergy advantages.
