On December 17, the “In-depth Tour” activity empowering enterprises with scientific and technological achievements (Yancheng) was held. Participants included Gan Xiaobin, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Lu Zaigui, Level-2 Inspector of the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, Dong Caifeng, Vice Mayor of Yancheng as well as representatives from universities and research institutes, scientific research institutions, industry associations, fund management institutions and key enterprises.

The activity focused on the green and low-carbon field, aiming to empower the high-quality development of small and medium-sized enterprises through precise connection of scientific and technological innovation resources. At the event, Yancheng Green and Low-Carbon Science and Technology Innovation Park and Huanghai Financial Holdings Group promoted their scientific and technological innovation resources. The first batch of “Pilot-Scale Test Insurance-Financing Integration” financial product projects were successfully signed, and a number of scientific and technological achievements and application demands were released on site.

In her speech, Dong Caifeng briefly introduced the development of scientific and technological innovation in Yancheng. She stated that the city will continue to deploy the innovation chain around the industrial chain and arrange the industrial chain based on the innovation chain, building more bridges for information sharing among universities, local governments and enterprises and promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. She expressed the hope that more universities, research institutes, science and technology enterprises and talent teams will establish roots in Yancheng. The municipal government will wholeheartedly provide high-quality services, build broad platforms, and create a dynamic scientific and technological innovation ecosystem, working together with all parties to create a bright future.
