On July 19th, a working conference on the construction of the city's near-zero carbon industrial park was held, and Party Secretary Zhou Bin attended and delivered a speech. He stressed that it is necessary to conscientiously study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the 3rd Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee, thoroughly practice Xi Jinping’s thought on ecological conservation focus on the goal of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, take building the near-zero carbon industrial park as an important starting point for building a green and low-carbon development demonstration zone, speed up the breakthrough of demonstrative and leading projects, actively explore the development path with Yancheng characteristics, and provide strong support for bravely being the pioneer of the carbon-centered development, a strong pillar of new quality productive forces.  

Zhou Bin led the delegation to successively investigate the construction of near-zero carbon industrial parks in Binhai Port, Sheyang Port and Dafeng Port, inspect the key projects and intelligent management platforms such as Zhongke Rongneng, SPIC Binhai Energy Storage, Binhai Cold Energy Exchange Station, Sheyang Envision Energy Storage Power Station, CRRC Main Engine Manufacturing, Zero Carbon Community, Dafeng Lianxin Steel, and comprehensive utilization of chemithermomechanical pulping wastewater of APP Bohui, compare with the work results, find out the problems, provide suggestions and make targeted plans for the next step.
