On the morning of June 21, China-Korea (Yancheng) Industrial Park Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference was held in Seoul of South Korea. Vice Mayor Tang Jing attended and addressed. In his speech, Tang mentioned that Yancheng and South Korea have achieved multiple and practical cooperation in economic and trade as well as culture. South Korea is Yancheng’s largest foreign investment source and largest trading partner with nearly 1,000 South Korea-funded companies and over 10,000 South Koreans. Yancheng has its own comparative advantages including being located in the Yangtze River Delta, vast area, complete collecting and distributing system, the integrated development of “wind-solar-thermal-natural gas-hydrogen”, green and ecological living environment, abundant Yancheng-born talents and first-class business environment. Yancheng hopes to deepen the cooperation with South Korea in a all-round and the-whole-industrial-chain manner by fully leveraging these advantages. Yancheng wishes friends from South Korea to visit Yancheng and experience the charm of this “international wetland and coastal green city” and find more opportunities in the multi-level, diversified and multi-channel cooperation and embrace a brighter future together.
Centering on the economic and trade cooperation, the participants exchanged and achieved results. 8 industrial projects were signed including composite ceramic materials and JESCO electrostatic chuck.
