He stressed that high-tech companies were essential forces in nurturing new drives and pushing forward high-quality development. We should deeply study and implement General Secretary Xi’s important speeches on scientific and technological innovation and enhance the sense of responsibility and urgency to achieve scientific independence centering on “5+2” strategic emerging industries and 23 key industrial chains and expand the industrial cluster and accelerate the new productive forces building.

We should further give full play to the enterprises’ role in scientific and technological innovation, encourage the innovative union building, support the industry-university-research cooperation and facilitate the mechanism of enterprises’ clustering of innovative policies, resources and talents. We should ensure better service, optimize the business environment, escalate the nurturing of national high-tech enterprises, SRDI and listed companies, help enterprises to seize the opportunity of large-scale equipment renewals and trade-in of old consumer goods, upgrade and grow and make contributions to Yancheng’s high-quality development.
