On July 26, a special press conference on the building of a beautiful Jiangsu, a series of news release activities themed “strive for a new Jiangsu and make contributions to a new era”, was held in Nanjing. At the meeting, Yancheng introduced the achievements made in promoting the building of a beautiful city in the past decade and the goals and tasks for the coming period.

Over the past ten years, the city has fully implemented the decisions and arrangements of the provincial Party Committee and the provincial government, thus historic changes have taken place in ecological environment protection, and major practical achievements have been made in the construction of ecological civilization. It has successively built a national civilized city, a national forest city, a national water ecological civilized city, and a national ecological civilization construction demonstration city, with two international business cards of “World Natural Heritage” and “International Wetland city”.
