“Orders have already been scheduled through the second half of the year, and even with our production lines running around the clock, we still cannot meet demand,” said Feng Cunbing, General Manager of Zhongbang Sporting Goods Co., Ltd., pointing to the goods stacked in the warehouse. “It’s not that we are unwilling to serve the domestic market. The reality is that export orders have already occupied our entire production capacity. With two manual production lines and one automated line, our daily output is close to 100 tons, which is already at the maximum limit.” On May 22, reporters visited Zhongbang Sporting Goods Co., Ltd. in Caomiao Town, Dafeng District. Inside the warehouse, boxes of finished dumbbells were neatly stacked, filling nearly all available storage space. The names of different countries were clearly printed on each carton.

In 2025, Zhongbang Sports achieved total sales revenue exceeding RMB 50 million. Since the beginning of this year, the company has faced the dual challenges of rising raw material prices and increasing transportation costs. Rather than waiting passively, it chose to adapt proactively by identifying opportunities for internal improvement, reducing costs and increasing efficiency at the production source, and enhancing product qualification rates through refined management practices. As a result, overseas orders continued to surge in the first quarter of this year, once again filling the order book and demonstrating the resilience and vitality of small and micro-sized enterprises. Despite operating at full capacity, Zhongbang Sports has not been content to maintain the status quo. Instead, it has set its sights on broader opportunities in the sports equipment market. At present, a new production line for the powder coating of barbell weight plates has been fully assembled and is expected to begin operation in July. Once commissioned, the new facility will further diversify the company’s product portfolio.
