Recently, Zhou Bin, Secretary of the CPC Yancheng Municipal Committee, conducted an inspection tour on marine economy work in Dafeng District. He emphasized the need to thoroughly study and implement the guiding principles of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech during his deliberation with the Jiangsu delegation at the National People’s Congress, actively align with the new round of the national strategy for coastal development in Jiangsu, and vigorously develop the marine economy in accordance with the requirements of the provincial Party committee and government. This effort aims to better digest the major industrial layout, transform the coastal area’s key variables into the largest increment for modernization, and make greater contributions to shouldering the province's responsibility of “shouldering the great responsibility”. The Dafeng Port Zero Carbon Industrial Park has taken initial shape with distinct industrial characteristics and advantages. Zhou Bin pointed out that Yancheng faces favorable opportunities and distincitve advantages in developing the marine economy. He called on all parties to seize the “forefront of the trend” , maintain firm confidence, focus on building a modern marine industrial system, and promote the deep integration of innovation chains and industrial chains. It is essential to remove bottlenecks and accelerate the formation of leading advantages to seize the commanding heights of future competition .
