Recently, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) conducted an investigation and research visit to Yancheng. Zhou Bin, Party Secretary of the CPC Yancheng Municipal Committee, met with ADB President Masato Kanda and his delegation in Yancheng. They exchanged views on ecological and environmental protection and promoting green development.
On behalf of the municipal committee and government, Zhou Bin expressed gratitude to the ADB for its strong support for Yancheng’s ecological and environmental protection efforts. He briefly introduced the city and stated that we hope the Asian Development Bank will engage in more pragmatic and in-depth cooperation with our city, participate in major events such as the 2025 World Coastal Forum, strengthen international ecological collaboration, jointly advance green and low-carbon development, and build a more beautiful community with a shared future for mankind.
Masato Kanda said that ADB and Yancheng have a solid foundation for cooperation. ADB will fully leverage its strength to further deepen the partnership with Yancheng and strive to achieve more fruitful outcomes.
During their stay in Yancheng, Masato Kanda and his delegation also conducted field visits to Dafeng Milu National Nature Reserve, Intertidal Zone Art Village, and Yancheng National Nature Reserve, Rare Birds.
