On April 10, video promotion meeting on the “waste-free city” construction work  was held. Vice mayor Wang Lianchun attended and spoke.

Wang Lianchun pointed out that we should fully understand the significance of the construction of “waste-free city”, fully promote the construction of ecological green, beautiful and livable new Yancheng, accelerate the construction of green low-carbon circular economy system, and make contributions to ecological conservation in our city. We should fully implement the key tasks of the construction of “waste-free city”, adhere to the problem-oriented approach, systematic governance and characteristic development, focus on the whole process and all the segments, and coordinate the key work of solid waste disposal and utilization to ensure the effectiveness of the construction of “waste-free city”. We should coordinate the construction of “waste-free city” and rural environment upgrade, and solidly promote the rural domestic sewage treatment, rural “black and odorous” water treatment, rural garbage systematic management and other work, to expand the width of the construction of “waste-free city”.
