Recently, the Hong Kong-registered vessel Ponito departed from Dafeng Port, marking the inaugural trial voyage of the Yangcheng Port’s Dafeng-UAE container route. This expansion of service networks enhances connectivity between Yangcheng and the Middle East, addressing a previously unmet need in container routes.

Yangcheng Port has opened 13 new routes since last year, totaling 47 routes. The steady increase in foreign trade in goods entering and leaving the port underscores the vitality of Yangcheng Port’s maritime economy. International shipping companies’ recognition of Yangcheng Port’s efficient customs clearance is evident.

Moving forward, Yangcheng Port Shipping Group will capitalize on strategic opportunities such as the integration of the Yangtze River Delta, development of the Huai River Ecological Economic Belt, and the Belt and Road Initiative. This includes continuous improvement of route layout and service quality, aligning with the new development pattern emphasizing domestic circulation and dual circulation of domestic and international economies. The aim is to contribute significantly to transforming it into a demonstration port.
