On October 31, a ”two-way effort” for green and low-carbon development took place in Dafeng District. About 80 multinational companies and industry leaders from RE100 gathered by the Yellow Sea to embark on a green journey, exploring and implementing clean energy solutions together, accelerating the green transition and upgrading of the industrial chain, and collaborating to create a ”zero-carbon” future.
RE100 is a green initiative with global influence, co-launched by the International Climate Organization and the non-profit organization CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project), aimed at promoting the use of 100% renewable energy electricity.
During the event, RE100 members and related enterprises unanimously agreed that green and low-carbon development is thetimes trendand a global consensus. RE100 aims to encourage companies to commit to 100% renewable energy use, a goal and mission that aligns closely with Dafeng’s industrial development. They expressed their intention to leverage their advantages in capital, technology, and market to invest in and establish a presence in Dafeng, joining the construction of the Dafeng Port Zero Carbon Industrial Park and sharing the dividends of green and low-carbon development.
